Caran D’Ache gouache cakes – individual colours

Caran D’Ache gouache cakes produce an opaque paste with good covering power even on dark backgrounds. As good gouache, they are water-soluble and always remain water-soluble. The dried surface is matt and has the appearance close to the pigment powder aspect, which is what makes gouache so unique and essential for studying and teaching.

Caran D’Ache gouache tablets are produced by high-pressure extrusion from a highly pigmented, moist paste. No plastifiers are used, but only vegetable binders.
