Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper brings exceptional possibilities to soft pastel artists. The pastel adheres so well to Pastelmat paper, that fixative is not needed between layers. Many Layers can be applied without saturation the tooth.
Pastelmat paper is available in 14 colours. The paper can be used for wet or dry techniques, and may even be used with alcohol. The thickness of the paper is 360g/m.
Individual colour Pastelmat sheets are available in packs of 5 sheets in 2 sizes below (50 x 70mm, and 70 x 100mm). And colours white and light grey are available in rolls (1.4 x 5m),of which the paper thickness is 270g/m.
They are also available in mountboard form, as well as in assortment pads.
