Jacques Herbin’s vellum paper is smooth, thick and silky thanks to the 50% of cotton that it is made from.
Vellum paper is a high-quality vegetable paper and is often more durable than normal paper and can resist tearing and creasing. This product was made to imitate the effect of the original vellum paper which was made out of the skin of a still-born calf. This type of paper was created during the eighteenth century and was used for the printing of luxurious documents and books. Vellum paper is compatible with various printing methods, including inkjet and laser printers.

Please note this product is an imitation of the original calf skin vellum paper and is therefore translucent and not as transparent as modern vellum paper typically is.
