For best results, we strongly recommend using a waterproof pouch when used in extreme conditions.  This provides extra protection to ensure that your radio works reliably when you need it most, and it keeps wind noise and water off the mic.  For sailing and fishing, our chest harnesses keep your radio well positioned out of harm’s way and where you can hear every transmission clearly.
