    The Recent RS-38M makes it possible for you to stay in touch with your buddies and to be able to contact surrounding vessels and rescue services and send a DSC (text) message with the touch of one button, including sending your GPS location.

    The long list of features includes an IPX7 waterproof rating, audible and visible alarm when dropped in the water, navigation screens to set waypoints or surrounding vessels, active noise reduction, dual/triwatch functions, great battery life, lightweight and compact enough to fit into a life vest, a sturdy belt clip and a reliable, high quality construction.

    For best results, we strongly recommend using a waterproof pouch when paddling surfski in extreme conditions.  This provides extra protection to ensure that your radio works reliably when you need it most, and it keeps wind nois and water off the mic.  For sailing and fishing, our chest harnesses keep your radio well positioned out of harm’s way and where you can hear every transmission clearly.
